We’re entering the homestretch for the Mister Bolt Leather 2027 Contest Weekend and I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve been heartened by all the folx who have expressed their support at the news of my running. I’m keeping myself level-headed and am doing what needs to be done to prepare.

Speaking of support, I’d like to invite you to gear up and come out for the contest weekend to support not only me but the bar and all the contestants. I’ve put together a great gift basket for auction and have been posting shoutouts on the products & businesses that have contributed. I’ll be posting a photo of the whole thing the day before the contest weekend.

Here’s the breakdown as I understand it; all events are happening the Bolt, 2560 Boxwood Street, in Sacramento:

📆 Friday, April 24th: Contestant Meet & Greet @ 9PM
📆 Saturday, April 25th: The Contest @ 9PM
📆 Sunday, April 26th: Victory Party

This is my first run and I’m looking forward to the experience!
