I’m in the midst of a transition and it feels like evolution infused with reawakening. It’s an interesting feeling, I’m not fearful or anxious. Rather, I’m cautiously hopeful of the things to come.

On that, I have news to share next week and I’m quite excited to be putting it out there. Stay tuned for next Tuesday.

More immediately, I will be in San Francisco for the weekend to carry out my duties as Organizer for BLUF San Francisco (BLUFSF) by hosting dinner and the monthly BLUF night at the SF Eagle. I’m looking forward to it, I always look forward to being with my Leather brethren.

Tonight, I’ll be in town for the second rehearsal for the Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus’ (SGMC) Pride Show, Rhinestone Cowboy, in mid-June. Tickets are on sale for the four-show run.

I may be at the Bolt later tonight for a cigar; we’ll have to gauge how I’m feeling.

I’ve been listening to the catalogue of music from Tori Amos and am looking forward to her upcoming release next month, In Times of Dragons. I’ve been an avid fan since Little Earthquakes and have enjoyed most of her output. The first single, Stronger Together, was released last month and I’ve been listening to it on repeat this afternoon. In the times we’re in, a little sonic fortification isn’t a bad thing. I think we could all use all the hope we can find wherever we can find it. That said, I’ll leave you with the lyrics Stronger Together.
