Since last week’s announcement that I’m running for the Mister Bolt title in late-April, I’ve been heartened and humbled by the great show of support and encouragement. The general gist has been, “It’s about time.” That’s been good to see because the work of getting to this point has been just that: Work. A lot of it.

I’ll be writing a series of articles leading up to the contest about getting to this point. Perhaps I can shed some light on my process for anyone who is looking to run for a title in their own respective area.
