Ya’at’ééh,

I’ve been doing a lot of soul-searching lately. Too much perhaps. It’s hard to tell what that means but it’s going on whether I like it or not.

It occurred to me that I’ve never committed my story before Leather, before Dominance to written word. I’ve always told my story verbally person-to-person or in recovery rooms and the like.  It’s not that I’m reluctant or ashamed of my story, it’s just that I’ve never given much thought to it til now.

For those that don’t know, I’ve been in recovery since November 2007 and it’s been an awesome journey. I believe recovery has afforded me great things as a Leatherman and as a practicing Dom.

That said, I’ve been inspired to continue the “Serenity & Leather” series with a trilogy delving into what it was like, what happened, and what it’s like with a focus on the first three years of my recovery. Below are working titles of what’s to come and there are four parts published:

– Serenity & Leather, Part V: Elegy
– Serenity & Leather, Part VI: Terminus
– Serenity & Leather, Part VII: Shards of Light

I’d also like to start pushing out more content on my musical influences as it’s been a while. So, stay tuned.
